Hi there, I’m Kristy
A heartfelt welcome to Driftless Education Solutions LLC. I have over 16 years of experience with public education and am excited to share my experiences with you, those that have shaped my life positively and maybe some that have shaped it in other ways. Join me on a new educational journey that has no actual destination. I have no doubt that the learning we encounter along the way will be excellent.
Thanks for joining me on this crazy journey called life. First and foremost, I am a wife, mother, educator, and nature lover. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and son. I highly enjoy getting some dirt therapy in my garden, cooking and baking anything I can get my hands on, and, as my husband would say, a never-ending list of other crafts and projects. This is where I'll share them all with you; the successes, the failures, and everything in between.

I have 16 years of experience in education, teaching different grade-levels, classroom positions to leadership, and now I'm venturing into higher-education as an adjunct instructor, while working on my Education Doctorate.

This is our pride and joy; we'll call him H-Man. He is intelligent, an athlete, a devout mini outdoorsman, and keeps us on our toes looking for him in trees. He loves music, reading, and helping me in the kitchen...sometimes. He is a perfect mix of both Chief and me, and we are enjoying watching every minute as he grows into the person he is meant to be.
This is our sweet girl, Ruby. She is the best family dog anyone could ask for. She loves going for walks or jogs, hiking through the woods, chasing after anyone sledding in our yard, and an afternoon on the water. Her absolute favorite thing is storytime at the end of the day. This is when she jumps up into H-Man's bed while we read, say prayers, and give good night hugs and kisses. She gets a snuggle and then goes off to sleep herself. What a way to end each day!
Let's start with some introductions. When I talk about my family, which I will often do, these are the two most important people I will be mentioning! To the right is my right-hand man, jack-of-all-trades, amazingly supportive husband; we'll call him Chief. He is my rock, and I could not imagine going through this crazy life without him.
